FERAL - FREE Spay/Neuter Resources
"Community cat" is an umbrella term that refers to any cat that is unowned and lives outdoors in the community. Both Feral and Stray cats are community cats.
Cats have a wide range of behaviors and degrees of socialization (the measure of a cat's comfort around humans) on a spectrum generally labeled from Feral to Stray to Pet with variations in between.
Caregivers, not to be mistaken as owners, often provide food, water, shelter and medical care for these feral and stray cats.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the only humane, effective approach to managing the overpopulation of community cats.
This list is not all inclusive but offers enough choices to suit most needs.
All vet visits require up to date rabies vaccination which can be administered day of visit if needed.
